My server setup
My computers live under ceiling in my hall. I wanted to keep the noise in the living room on minimum. I have actually three computers there - router, gaming PC and server.

The router is a small PCengines box. Passively cooled, small SSD and running the latest pfSense. Gaming PC used to be a beast, nowadays quite mediocre PC - water cooled, large SSD and running latest Windows 10. Mostly used as a workstation nowadays. More details on the gaming PC and the "case" around it is published on the Build.gg site.
Server hardware
- AMD Ryzen 5650GE
- MSI X470A Gaming
- 2x 16 GB 3600 MHz DDR4 memory
- 6x 3.5" HDDs, 2x M.2 SSDs
Server is running Unraid OS. This allows me to mix and match hard drives and manage dockers easily. You could probably put this together from different parts and achieve similar result but I like that Unraid is quite easy going.
Software
That is mainly docker. My ultimate goal was to have a substitute for every Google service I used and I can say that it is done. I don't login to my Google account more than once every two months.

There are also other dockers - like local DLNA, but these are trivial to run and there were rarely any issues with them so they will not get mentioned on this site really.
Other dockers are apps that I occasionaly need to maintain server - doublecommander, handbrake or UniFi controller.
La elección de comprar equipaciones de fútbol mejora al comparar la temporada, el diseño y los detalles visibles. Una revisión final debería incluir que la descripción coincida con las fotografías y las opciones seleccionadas.
Because I am running Unraid, I am not using Docker Compose or any other great tools to simplify the running of the containers. Unraid offers UI for Docker management called dockerman. I tend to run Portainer when I am working outside of my servers. I also used Compose few times, but I would hesitate to say that I have experience. :D
VMs
There is only one really and that is a HomeAssitant VM. Some stuff is easier with HA running in a VM rather than in a docker. I used to smartify our Christmas tree and to wake us up by light during winter.
